Integration Strategies

 

Those types of strategies (Forward integration, backward integration and horizontal integration) allow a firm to gain control over distributors, suppliers and competitors.

 

 

Integration Strategies: Sabana Consulting doesn’t count with integration strategies because the company doesn’t need distributors or suppliers and in the meantime the company does not count with capital to acquire competitors.

 

Intensive Strategies

 

Refers on those strategies that require efforts to gain a competitive position in the market in order to look for an important market share for an existing service in an existing and competitive industry with intensive efforts with activities as market penetration, market development and product development.

 

Market Penetration: Sabana Consulting use the market penetration to improve the service in Bogota, because the usage rate of present costumers (companies and job candidates) are increasing significantly. Another reason is when the correlation between dollar sales and dollar marketing expenditures have been increasing creating an opportunity for our company to employ people who need it through greater marketing effort. Market Development: This intensive strategy that the company will implement is very necessary because in the near future as we already mentioned the objectives, we are expecting to find new groups of buyers as potential customers in untapped markets. These potential customer groups may be served by our competitors and we want to penetrate these new geographical areas while we acquire more experience in the business.

 

Diversification Strategies

 

Diversification strategies are used to enter into new markets or industries that are unexplored by the company and also to generate a new product or service for that new market or industry.

 

Related Diversification: To create an effective related diversification strategy for our company we must analyze the market and see how it is growing, in order to create a new service in the same industry that we specialize.
